A population of about 1,700 and one of the last true island experiences left in The Bahamas. Rich in Bahamian culture and heritage, and a 35 minute flight from Nassau.
We are at the heart of the island in The Bight, under five minutes from New Bight Airport, New Bight Beach, the native restaurants, the Regatta site, and Mount Alvernia — the highest point in the country. Regatta weekend and Rake 'n' Scrape bring the whole Bahamas here; the rest of the year the beaches are yours.
